Our theme this year is ‘collaboration’; we have speakers, but if you or a customer has a good case story of collaboration to reduce CO2 emissions, we’d love to hear from you and have you participate.
More specifically the enactment of the CSRD/ESRS, EU EED, EPRB and REDIII directives and accompanying regulations around CountEmissionsEU, LEVELS etc means we are all facing into far reaching change in our businesses and society. As an old proverb1 says if you want to go quickly go alone, if you want to go far go together

Purpose of any AGM is to meet the members and allow you to ask questions and receive info. This is your AEE Chapter, its up to you the member to shape it and ensure you are getting value. On the day, we plan for an update from Rayan on progress wrt reducing barriers to the industry (as raised by members at 2023 AGM), Paul will give an update on our accounts and finances. Ronan an outline of events attended in 2023 and planned for 2024 including AEE Ireland Conference for 12th September 2024, once again at SETU Waterford based on the very positive feedback from last year.
Training and certification continues to expand AEE’s Climate Action Certificate, ISO50001 Professional, CEM, CEA, CMVP and Transport Energy Auditing are all planned for multiple dates in 2024 after a very successful 2023. See https://aee.ie/training/

As discussed at AEE Ireland Chapter Conference in SETU last Sept, some officers are stepping down this year and new roles are opening;
- President Conor Molloy Elected May’20, its time to hand over to a fresh pair of hands.

- Treasurer Paul Boylan Elected May’20, stepping down, this officer role is open
- Secretary Rayan Abdelrahman is stepping down temporarily for maternity leave
